We have a very full and diverse aerobic program offering many Group Exercise Classes throughout the day. You will find classes for all levels and interests, including classes that incorporate yoga, tai chi, kickboxing and interval training, hand weights, bars, and bands. We have Circuit Training classes that take you through the Nautilus weight machines. All of our instructors work hard to give you a safe, challenging workout. See all group class descriptions below. All group classes are held in the W. Clark Street location and the Cutten Annex. |

Class Descriptions Bosu Fitness: A class incorporating balance, strength and cardio training. Come and join this challenging workout. CrossFit: A constantly varied, functional, high intensity workout. Offered exclusively at CAL COURTS. Just Abs: A complete Abdominal workout! Step: Cardiovascular workout using a step to get the heart pumping and the lower body moving. This class will give you a well rounded workout from head to toe, utilizing a variety of equipment and choreography. The class will include some strength work and a stretch to finish. Basic Step: Cardiovascular workout using movement on and off the step in basic patterns. Taught at a beginner Level, this class is suitable for all fitness levels. The class will include some upper and lower body strength training and end with a series of stretching. Fun & Fit: This class is designed for newcomers, de-conditioned and older adults. Low-impact exercises, strengthening and increase of range of motion are part of this class, use of step and hand weights is optional. Refreshments and conversation in the lobby after class. Contact Kickboxing: This class is powerful and a blast. You will kick and punch your way through this very invigorating, intense workout. The class utilizes gloves, pads and partners and is open to all participants who want a head to toe workout. Bootcamp: An hour of anything goes. This class is for all fitness levels. The class utilizes all equipment including jump ropes, barbells, hand weights, exercise bands, gliding discs, slides, steps and more. Step 2 It: This class is a great way to burn calories. Alternating between basic choreography on the step and conditioning off the step, you will never get bored in this class. This class is great for anyone who likes to have fun and get a well rounded workout. Cardio Fusion: An interval class using the step, gliding discs, floor, jump ropes, resistance balls, hand weights, resistance bancs, foam rollers and more. This class is designed to improve your cardiovascular health. Circuit: This class generally meets upstairs in the Techno-Gym area and sometimes in the basketball gym. The class utilizes weight machines, stairs, versa climber, resistance equipment, jump ropes, slides, free weights and more. Moving from station to station with a consistent variety keeps it exciting and makes the hour fly by. |
